Event Zones

Inspired by El Gato de Tejada, an iconic sculpture by Hernando Tejada, this zone along the Cali River blends public art with urban space and local culture. Attendees can admire sculptures like Floresmila, Cálida, Ingrid, and Vellocino. The journey starts at Maurice Armitage Plaza, featuring sugarcane agroindustry machinery. Inside the Valle del Pacífico Events Center, participants will experience Colombian culture before registering for the World Sugar Congress. Zone 1 of the exhibition begins under a welcome arch, leading to a space of knowledge and technology. The Patio Café offers a networking area. The French delegation will inaugurate the exhibition. This zone links Cali's cultural heritage with an innovative agroindustrial vision.

This zone in Cali celebrates La Ermita Church, a neo-Gothic landmark symbolizing the city's historical and dynamic present, and its enduring elegance and cultural significance. The exhibition area aims to evoke the same spirit of tradition and inspiration that La Ermita represents. The tour continues to the Rosita Jaluf Hall, a commercial exhibition space featuring companies and networking opportunities. Corazón de Caña, a Platinum Sponsor, highlights the Colombian sugar industry's commitment to sustainability and innovation. Finally, the Fenalco Pavilion offers further chances to explore new alliances and strengthen business networks through its commercial stands.

This zone, inspired by Jairo Varela, embodies Cali's dynamic salsa culture and continuous evolution.

Explore specialized agroindustrial machinery and technology at the Cámara de Comercio Plaza, including UTTAM Sucrotech's stand by the Samán Tree.

The Manuelita Pavilion offers innovative agroindustrial solutions and specialized conferences on Factory and Agriculture, sharing strategic knowledge and trends.

This zone celebrates Cali's gastronomy, offering a sensory experience of traditional Valle del Cauca flavors, symbolized by the refreshing Cholado. This culinary highlight also serves as a cultural and social hub, embodying the region's identity. Within this area, Compromiso Rural showcases a sugar mill initiative promoting rural entrepreneurship and economic development.

Zone 4 will host key social events. The Regional Cocktail will be an immersive experience of Colombian music, gastronomy, and traditions. The Closing Dinner will recognize achievements and foster international cooperation. Additionally, a temporary outdoor structure will provide catering services for the duration of the event.

The Cristo Rey monument, overlooking Cali, symbolizes identity, hope, and a commitment to a sustainable future, emphasizing environmental and social responsibility while preserving tradition.

This final commercial exhibition zone offers opportunities to explore stands and attend specialized conferences in the coproducts and administration rooms. A convenient luggage drop-off area is also available.

On the second floor, the Biology Room provides a space for scientific and academic exchange within the agroindustrial sector. The Poster Room will feature research paper abstracts, fostering discussion on strategic topics related to the sugarcane agroindustry.
