The pre-congress of the XXXII ISSCT Centennial Congress 2025 will offer attendees a unique opportunity to visit sugar mills and Cenicaña in Colombia. This event will be divided into two zones: participants who choose the northern zone will be accommodated in Pereira, while those opting for the central and southern zones will stay in Cali. During these visits, academic topics focused on the areas of field, harvest, and factory operations will be addressed. The pre-congress technical visits include: internal transportation, technical visits to two sugar mills and/or Cenicaña, lunch, and refreshments.

Zone 1 | Central and southern of Valle del Cauca
Transport Information – Pre-Congress Zone 1 (Valle del Cauca)
Participants attending the Pre-Congress in Valle del Cauca will arrive at Cali Airport from their city of origin, where a private Tecnicaña transport will pick them up and take them to their hotels.
During the Precongress, a private transport service will collect participants from their hotels and take them to each technical visit at the sugar mills. At the end of each visit, transport will return them to their

Zone 2 | Northern of Valle del Cauca y Risaralda
Transport Information – Pre-Congress Zone 2 (Risaralda)
For participants attending the Pre-Congress in Risaralda, with visits to Risaralda and Riopaila sugar mills, two arrival options are available:
1️⃣ Fly to Pereira Airport, where a private Tecnicaña transport will collect you and take you to your hotel in Pereira.
2️⃣ Fly to Cali Airport, where a private Tecnicaña transport will take you by road to your hotel in Pereira (approximately 220 km, a 3-hour journey).
During the two days of the Pre-Congress, Tecnicaña will provide transportation between the hotel and the sugar mills.
📅 On Sunday, 24 August 2025, a private transport service will pick up participants from their hotel in Pereira and transfer them to Cali in the morning.
