Sugarcane productivity can be enhanced using foliar application of plant hormones and biostimulants. Field studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of application of a combination of gibberellic acid (GA3) with the biostimulants seaweed and amino acids on growth and productivity of sugarcane varieties (CC 01-1940 and CC 11-600). Gibberellic acid was applied at 1,333 or 2,000 ppm in combination with seaweed and amino acids 5 months after planting. Significant increases in stalk height (23.5 cm), stalk diameter (2.5 mm), stalk weight (500 g), and sucrose content (1.03%) were observed in treated plants compared to controls at harvest. These findings suggest that the combination of GA3, seaweed, and amino acids may enhance vegetative growth and improve sugarcane crop productivity.
